The Gift of Grub

December 12, 2016

Christmas is just around the corner. And whether you have a few items left, or haven't bought anything yet, there's one gift idea that a lot of people forget about -- food! What's more thoughtful and personal than the gift of grub? Here are a few of my local picks that'll be perfect for the different people, personalities and stomachs in your life.

For the snacker: Urban Brunch Co. Jam

Don't get it twisted, these jams can be used for more than breakfast. The Peach Bacon and Strawberry Black Pepper go well with everything from charcuterie boards, to fruit, even try them on a burger.

For the adventurous one: Habanero Pickles by Chef Mary Jesse

If you know someone who loves hot/spicy food, these habanero pickles will take your dish to new heights. Throw them on sandwiches and sliders, or bring the heat to your next batch of deviled eggs.

For the meat lover: Chisholm Trail Grass-fed Beef Snack Stick Bites

Want to bless someone with meat without it going bad in an instant? Stick to these snack stick bites. Not only are they tasty but they make for the perfect post workout snack for those looking to hit the gym to shed post holiday pounds.

For the skin guru: Kona Body Scrub

No, this scrub isn't edible. But Kona is made out of all natural ingredients including coffee, sugar, honey and oatmeal. Glow up!
