Letter from the Editor

What a difference a year makes! I started Starving on a Budget as an outlet to talk about food, but I quickly learned there are many ingredients that go into the pot of stew I wanted to feed my readers. From recipes, to personal testimonies, to features, to healthy eating tips, to not so-healthy eating tips, and of course my obsession with kale — there were so many things I wanted to share. And during my journey, I’ve received a great deal of feedback.

I’ve listened and assessed, and now I want to give back — and expand.

To me, Starving on a Budget is so much more than a blog, so I made the decision to begin implementing PR services - on top of what we’ve been doing. I want to give business owners in the restaurant industry a chance to spread their stories, journeys, and of course — food!

My first solo event — The Last Sunday Soul Sip — was just the beginning. 

With that being said, my mantra for year two of Starving on a Budget is simple: Everybody eats! There’s enough for everyone to go around. Let’s help each other get to the top!
