When’s the last time you picked up a mask, or a scrub, or beauty product from the store? If you’re a woman, I would guess it’s a never-ending thing. Well, it could be time for you to stop wasting your precious coins, and look to your kitchen for your beauty needs. My contributor Althea and I compiled a list of some of our favorite, go-to recipes that helps give our skin just what it needs to flourish!

Turmeric facial – Althea’s pick

This is an anti-inflammatory facial. Great to calm acne flair ups, hydrate dry skin in the winter and deflate puffy under eyes.

2 tbsp turmeric

1 tbsp milk

Slightly warmed up organic unpasteurized honey

Goal is for mixture to be in a paste that can be smoothed onto the face without being too watery

Apple Cider Vinegar – Dalila’s pick

By now, I’m sure you’re aware of the apple cider vinegar cocktail that helps gett your waist down to size, but apple cider vinegar also works wonders on your face. Ran out of toner? Try applying ACV to your face with cotton pad or cotton ball. My favorite use of ACV? The liquid base to my Aztec Clay Mask (which is super cheap for the amount they give you. And a little goes a long way!)
